Pinpoint Placement Review -- Get your skills ready if you want to Quilt in the Hoop or for any Embroidery

There is quite the demand for Quilting in the Hoop whether Edge to Edge or Custom quilting by the square or Design. In order to do that skill successfully you must know your Pinpoint Placement tool very well. Use makes you better. This class will focus on the process of how to tackly the different pinpoint placement types.
This class is to get you more familiar with the Pinpoint Placement process and gives you time prior to the Quilting in the Hoop class to practice.
These classes are set up by the Machine you own. Please sign up for the machine type you own as the process differs slightly between machines.
If you own a 990 - you need to be in the B990 class. (This will also be a Zoom Class). But you must be able to follow along as I cannot do problem shooting from long distance. The date for this class is August 17.
If you own a B790, B770, B735 PRO - you need to be in that class designated for these machines. The date for this class is August 26th
If you own a B880, B790, B770 B735 PLUS - you need to be in the class designation for these machine. The date for this class is August 31st.
All these classes are under the same listing so please pick the proper date!!!!!
Here's what you need to bring to these classes:
- Your machine
- Your module
- Hoop -- the hoop you pick is up to you but I would bring the oval, Midi, or maxi, or if you have the magnetic hoops, bring the medium or large.
- Needle
- Thread -- bring a contrasting thread for your fabric
- embroidery foot. #26
- Fabric - Bring a fabric that is solid so you can test how you did and can see the marking lines that we will make. And the thread contrasts to this fabric
- Stabilizer - since we are just practicing, any stabilizer will work as you are not creating a masterpiece in this class. Just working with the pinpoint placement tool. A tear away for a cotton works, or a cutaway -- polymesh.
- bobbin thread - can use the same thread in your bobbin that you are using on the top or bring embroidery bobbin thread works too
- Marking tool. I like either the chalk marker or the wash away marker.
- A ruler to make the marks
When you arrive at the store if you pull up parallel to the front doors, we will gladly help get your machine and supplies out of your car and can help get them to the classroom. We appreciate your cooperation in if you bring a drink, put it in a container with a slide-close lid. This protects the room from accidental spills. No lunch is provided with this class but we have a fridge for your use or you can drive to Caseys for a break.
Come join us for this one! This will be a great skill builder.
