Quilted Jacket - Presented by Andrew Lee - AKA Combat Quilter

Wrap yourself in handmade style! In this class, Andrew Lee--aka The Combat Quilter--will teach us how to transform a finished quilt into a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket! Don’t worry if you’ve never made clothing before—Andrew will walk through it step-by-step and you'll leave with a cozy, on-trend jacket that’s just as fun to wear as it was to make!

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

Students are required to bring a finished quilt to class. (Does not need to have binding.) The quilt must be a minimumsize of 60" x 80" to create a jacket up to size 18. A larger quilt is required for sizes over 18 OR if you want to fussy cut your jacket pieces. The bigger the quilt, the more layout options you'll have.

The pattern designer, has granted the instructor permission to provide you with a pattern to use during class.

Supply List:
- Finished quilt (see details above)
- 2/3 yard of cotton fabric for binding
- Sewing machine
- Large Fabric Shears/Scissors
- Basic sewing tools
-  Pattern Ease to allow you to trace and get the perfect fit with help

Remember -- During Class, if you plan to just make one jacket there is no charge for the pattern.   Once and done.   If you plan to make more than one, then you must invest in the jacket pattern from Twig and Tale.   Andrew will talk about this aspect when you are in class.

There are examples in the store in a couple of different sizes for you to come in and try on.

When you arrive for class, please pull up parallel to the front doors and have your machine on the left side or the rear of your car with your supplies.   We will meet you at your car with the wagon to help you get your machine in the building.   Once we have your machine, you can then move your car to the East side of the building.    If you are bringing in a drink, it must be in a container with a closable lid container.   We expect the classroom to be full so this helps to protect your neighbor.   No lunch will be served at this class.   We have a fridge available for your use.  Doors will open at 9:00.

Refund policy for this class -- If you find that you must cancel, we can only refund your class fee when we can re-sell your seat.  If you go to sign up for this class and no seats are available, please put your name on the Wait List.  This will allow us to fill a last minute cancellation.

Many of done this class and everyone loves it.   And this is such a trendy coat to have going into the cooler months.   Come join us for the fun!
