Everyday Quilted Tote -- Beginner Friendly Focused Learning on Bag Skills

Have you ever taken a bag class and wanted more information about the process of quilting your fabric and how to do it, more of a deep dive into installing the zipper, and then moving into the construction and the binding application of your bag? This is the class for you! We will be breaking down the skills into a group of 3 classes so when you are done you have a better understanding of the bag making process for all Knot and Thread patterns.

For this class, it is a series of 3 classes.   Each class is going to be focussed on a particular skill needed for bag making.   This skill crosses over many designers but we are focusing on the Knot and Thread Patterns.

Session 1 - This session is for quilting your fabric.   Hints and tips will be provided on doing straight line quilting and tips for managing fabric while quilting.   Reading the pattern and doing the cutting out your bag will also be in this class.

Session 2 - This session, the focus will be on zipper application and hints and tips for getting a zipper in the bag gussets.   You will start the bag construction part in this class and will again go over reading the pattern.

Session 3 - This session, the focus will be finishing the construction part, again with a focus on the reading of your pattern and the application of binding.   Who doesn't need binding help for your bags!

While these are individual sessions, we highly recommend you take the entire series.   The sharing of information and learning you can get out of this class series, we are very excited about.
