Sew Kind of Wonderful -- Using Curve Rulers

The Sew Kind of Wonderful Curve Rulers are designed to simplify cutting and piecing curves in quilting. These rulers feature clear acrylic construction with a rotary cutter slot for consistently cutting curved shapes. The QCR allows for a "Cut-Sew-Square-Up" process, while the Wonder Curve Ruler provides bold, color-coded lines and markings for easy scaling and alignment to create various curved blocks.   These rulers and the assortment of patterns that accompany them, opens up an entire new avenue for your quilting and piecing options.

This class and a quilt class to follow a month later will provide you the guidance to learn and practice using these wonderful rulers.   The first class is a beginner class for all piecers.   It will give you a great base in using these rulers to accomplish those great, smooth curves that we all seek.  The project is a pillow featuring smooth curves and fall colors.   No need to purchase a pattern for this one -- just grab some fabric and come learn the process.   The quilt class that followers - is amazing.   Join this class and then move forward to the first of many classes using this ruler and concept For this class, you will need to bring the following:

Machine
New Needle - 80/12
Thread
Quarter Inch foot
Rotary Cutter
Cutting mat to use at your station
pins
Fabric --  grab some fat quarters or your stash.  This is about learning the process -- not the project

To refine your skills, a follow-up class is ready and you will get to see the fabulous wall size quilt during this class and you will be able to continue to perfect the Sew Kind of Wonderful Curve Rulers.    From there, anything using these rules is available to you piece.    We have all seen that wonderful Nativity Quilt that uses these rulers and that will be an option for you.   Come sew with Pam and let's conquer sewing Curves!

When you arrive to the store, you can pull to the front and we will help you unload and get your machine into the classroom.   You can then park on the east side of the building.

If you are bringing a drink, it must be in a sealed container with a slide closable lid.   This helps protect your stuff as well as your class buddies.
