Foundation Paper Piecing -Holiday Snow Globes
So if you have ever wanted to take the plunge and try foundation paper-piecing, this is the one for you! The blocks in this cheerful holiday table runner are made with Foundation paper piecing skills and you can set the table runner either vertically or horizontally. The finished runner measures 15x47. These are all straight seams, some bias edges, and you need to sew an accurate 1/4" seam. The face can be embroidered.
The pattern will be in the store shortly and the exact fabric requirements are on the envelope. But in general, you will need:
Santa red - 1/8 yard
Snowman and snow - 1/4 yd
Globe base and trunk - 1/8 yd
Santa face - 3x4 scrap
Tree - 3 shades of green 2 1/2" strip
Santa belt - 2x6" scrap
Globes - 1/2 yd
Background and sashing - 3/4 yd
Binding. 1/3 yd
Backing - 1 yd
The measurements are generous. Dive into your scraps to locate those pieces you need for the Santa, Snowman and Tree!

Please note that you will need to copy some of the pieces in your pattern prior to class. These will be used for your paper piecing.
When you arrive for class, we will help you get your machine in the store. Just pull up to the front and we can unload and you can go park.
If you must cancel your class, call the store and we will return your class fee to you account.
For drinks: Your drink must be in a sealed glass with a slide drink opening. If it does not, you will be asked to place your drink in the kitches area.
