Moonwake Bag by Lavender and Twine

This bag is from Lavender and Twine.   They are a great bag designer that provides a grand style.  This bag looks high end with decorative straps and a wonderful selection of hardware.   The body type is semi slouchy bag that can be worn as a handbag or a crossbody. The bag opens wide and has only one simple to install zipper on the lining.   

The fabric you will need to purchase is all listed on the pattern.   To obtain the pattern, you will purchase the pattern from Lavender-and- twine.com.   It will be a pdf download.  If you have problems obtaining, please give the store a call.

If you come with your fabrics cut and ready to sew, at the end of the class, you will have a finished bag.  The pattern contains a good number of pictures which will help you with cutting.

Do not cut your straps prior to class as I prefer 1" straps over the 3/4".   If you go with this approach, you will use 3/4" hardware instead of the 1" hardware.   

This bag is for confident beginners.

Day of class, please arrive and pull parallel to the front doors.   We can help bring in your machine and supplies.

We must have 4 customers to move ahead with this class.    If you need to cancel for some reason, please call the store to cancel.   A refund of your fee will be applied to your Sewing Studio account.    For drinks in the building, you must have a tightly sealed container with a drink slide.
