Turkish Delight Tablerunner

A quick and easy table runner that can be completed in one session it does not get any better than that.    And the result is just perfect for the sprint and summer days ahead!   

The 2 ½” squares can be color-coordinated, scrappy or theme oriented. The background lends itself well to neutral colors as well as color; just make sure that it reads as a solid so that your mini squares “pop.”

When picking your fabric, you can use a Mini Charm Pack but you can also grab some fat quarters.  Make sure your fabrics for the 'pop' is something that will look good on your background fabric and not blend.

This is a Beginner friendly project.   We look forward to seeing you at this class!

SUPPLY LIST

Turkish Delight Pattern – Villa Rosa Designs - this will be provided as part of the class fee.

Mini charm pack -42- 2 ½” squares  --  you may cut your own 2 ½” squares-you will need a total of 42

Background – ½ yard

Backing – ½ yard

Binding – ¼ yard

Sewing machine, foot pedal & cords

Thread to match project and 3 full bobbins

¼” foot (or know your ¼” seam allowance mark on your machine)

Rotary cutter, mat & ruler

Optional:

               Small iron and pressing pad that you can keep by your machine and press as you go.

               Walking foot for stitching in the ditch if you want to quilt in class.


Bring something for lunch.  We have a fridge for your use and also have soda in the building for purchase from the fridge.

When you arrive for your class, please be prepared to park on the east side of the building.   If you are impaired, please know you can park on the front of the building towards the east end.  If you are bringing a drink to class, it must be in a sealable bottle, or in  a glass with a tight sealed lid and a closable drink slide.     If you must cancel your class after signup, please call the store and we will refund your fee in the form of a credit to your account.
