Making Bags Book Club - from Sallie Tomato

The first session was so popular we are starting another series.   But this time, we are condensing the time line to allow you to finish the series faster.    You just need to dedicate 2 days each month to complete this fabulous program.  The program takes you from a beginner bag through the completion of 5 bag projects.   Each month you will build on your knowledge and skills.  The first class will be lecture demo and the remaining classes you will need machines and supplies as you will be creating 5 different style bags.   This is a great class to get involved in if you are a novice and just getting started but don't know where to start.
This club will use the book, Making Bags: A Field Guide book by Jess Barrera of Sallie Tomato. It was created for just this purpose -- to guide you through and give you technique building skills to create bags that you are very proud of.   Remember, your instructor, Kathy Easter, is a certified Sallie Tomato instructor.   She is thrilled to be able to bring this series to the store.

Bring to class:

The first session bring a notebook and pen, and the book,  Making Bags: A Field Guide Book.  This will provide the roadmap to the rest of the sessions and the patterns for the bags you will construct.   The next day, you will start constructing by starting with the Quilted Pouch and will need the list below brought the rest of the time.

We must have 4 students to move forward with this class series.     Each month the charge will be $100.00/ $50.00 per class.   For Month 2 and 3 we will do a subscription that will hit your credit card for the class fee around the class date or $100.00 each month.    This is a fabulous series and we are honored to be able to offer it. 

 When you arrive to the store for  class, please be ready to drop off your supplies at the front of the store and then move your car to the east side of the building.   If you have mobility issues, please park along the front of the building -- east end.
