Bloom and Grow Serger Quilt -- Let's Quilt with a Serger
You have seen the hype about this quilt and about the ability to Quilt with your Serger. This class is your chance to try it out. The Bloom and Grow quilt contains 6 unique quilt squares that are totally pieced with a Serger. With your work in the class and homework, you will be able to construct the Bloom and Grow Quilt blocks or use the blocks you create and sew together for a table runner.
You will have homework to complete the group of blocks from one week to the next. You will be able to buy the Bloom and Grow pattern at the store. The store has a couple of extra kits if you would like to purchase one is the standard colorway.
For everyone that purchased a Quilters Edition L890, this kit and pattern was part of your Gift with Purchase. This class is the opportunity to get guidance with this quilt and get guidance with your serger.
The blocks contained in this quilt that will be demonstrated and sewn are - bow-tie, flying geese, wonky log cabin, elongated tumbler block. Please get your fabric cut according to the pattern and the timing is later in the class description. Please also be aware, the Flower part of this quilt is not a part of the class instruction.

When arriving for class, come to the front door and park parallel to the door. We will assist you to get our your machine and supplies. Then you can proceed to the east side of the building to park.
There must be at least 4 students sign up for this class for it to proceed. If we do not reach this minimum, a refund in the form of a store credit will be issued. If you need to cancel last minute, please call the store. We will do our best to provide instruction for you if you must miss a class. Remember, all drinks must be in a seal tight container with a slide-seal lid
