Deb Tuckers' Rapid Fire Hunters Star Quilt

The technique you will be taught in this class takes advantage of the Deb Tucker approach to quilting different types of blocks by using a specialty ruler for trimming and creating.   With this approach, you will create a perfect star every time.   No lost corners, no gap for other corners.   Come learn this approach and technique and see the magic how this technique improves the quality of your blocks.    This tool and Deb Tucker's technique provides for streamlined construction and the magic happens when you do your precision trim down of each block.   

This class has been set up to allow you to have a day for picking fabric, then a day to cut your fabric, then followed by 2 sewing days to sew your blocks and assemble your quilt.    This set up gives you the time to create with staff and teacher help through the entire process.  While day 1 is for fabric picking it is likely you will start to cut this day too.   So bring all your supplies!

For this class, you will need to purchase the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star Petite Ruler and the Book - Hidden Treasurers by Deb Tucker.   Both of these items are in the store.    And for many of you, you may have the Hunters Star Petite Ruler in your stash!    Check there and see if you have it and then let's put it to good use.    While the sample is done is the beautiful group of fabrics, think about how this one will look in a fall palette or even a Christmas one.

So put this one on your calendar now and plan to attend and to CREATE!    We can hardly wait to see the results everyone achieves.   

You will need to bring:

Fabric
Matching thread
machine, foot pedal, power cord, and appropriate foot for quilting
rotary cutter
small cutting mat

When you arrive at the store, please be ready to unload your supplies at the front of the store and then to park on the east side of the store.   Drinks are permitted in the classrooms, but we highly suggest you bring a glass with a lid.   We have ice and a what fountain for your use


There must be at least 4 students sign up for this class for it to proceed.   If we do not reach this minimum, a refund in the form of a store credit will be issued.  If you need to cancel last minute, please call the store.
