Block Mania - Getting to know Quilt Blocks Series 2
When you see that favorite pattern and think I can’t do that, this class will help you learn to read patterns and make 16 new blocks and a beautiful, completed quilt. This will give you the confidence to try that pattern you fell in love with. This is a GREAT class for the Confident Beginner or Quilters that have been quilting for a bit but are ready to try new blocks.
This class will be the first Saturday each month for 9 months. Saturdays may be adjusted as we navigate through spring and summer. Each month, there will be two (2) featured blocks to allow you to build your skills.
This will be a great way to build your quilting skills, where you get experience in a class environment for creating these blocks, have a great time-sharing tips for improving your sewing skills and cutting skills.

Rulers – There may be some very useful rulers that are discussed during the different sessions. These rulers are meant to make your job in creating these different blocks easier. The list above is what to bring each month, Cathy will introduce you to new rulers as you move through the series
The fabric requirement document and the free pattern document will be sent to you as you sign up for the class. These two documents are PDF's and will be sent to your email.

I started quilting about 15 years ago when I wanted to make a housewarming gift for a Habitat for Humanity family. Then I started making quilts for my grandbabies and haven’t stopped since. I want to share my love of quilting and choosing fabric with others who have the desire to learn. |
