Get to Know your Software Tuesday!

Getting to know your software is -- well hard!   It takes patience, it takes repetition, it takes a number of sessions with results in a project.    Getting to know it takes time and we are starting a regular, monthly session with different topics to help you explore your software and learn the various options in bite-size chunks.

Each month, a different technique will be covered.   Some months we will work with a technique that results in a project you can sew out later.  Other times we will be using the software to accomplish embroidery design changes that all of us want to do -- but then hit the roadblock because we are not knowledgeable in our software.     

Unless otherwise specified, these sessions will focus on options available in the Creator level of the software (version 9 preferred - there may be some differences for Version 8) so that everyone with Creator or DesignerPlus can complete the exercises.

Each month, bring your computer, mouse, power cord and let's start building a notebook to document these techniques.  A mouse is strongly encouraged, as click and drag options with a touchpad are very difficult!

** We must have 4 students in these sessions.   If the minimum is not met, we will evaluate whether to move ahead with the class or to cancel for the month.

There must be at least 3 students sign up for this class for it to proceed.   If we do not reach this minimum, a refund in the form of a store credit will be issued.  If you need to cancel last minute, please call the store.  IF the store needs to cancel due to not meeting minimums, sickness or weather, you will receive a credit on your account
