Building your Embroidery Hoop Bags - the Module Nesting Bag

Come join the fun and this time create with Ruth your Nesting Bag for your Embroidery Module.   t’s a Companion Bag to the larger bag meant to carry your embroidery hoops!  It was designed by Ruth to nest under the arm of the embroidery unit inside the Embroidery Unit Bag.  It has two vinyl zippered pockets that can store your embroidery hoops and supplies that are brought to class or just need a place for safe keeping. The exterior of the bag is made from a quilted cotton sandwich to provide cushioning. Snaps are used to keep the bag closed. Of course, you can find other ways to use this Companion bag. It is a great way of getting organized and seeing what you have stashed inside it!  The first class the group created a bag meant to carry the embroidery hoops, this bag is for you to store items needed for class in your module bag, nested in there perfectly to utilize the space this bag provides.

Supplies you will need for class:

½ yard main fabric

½ yard Soft & Stable

½ yard Lining fabric

½ yard Coordinating fabric

½” yard SF 101 or  15” x 20”

1 yard of Zippers by the Yard size 4.5 or 5.  (TWO 17” zippers)

¾ yard of Annie Vinyl

Before class, it is very helpful to quilt your main fabric, soft and stable and lining fabric in any pattern you are comfortable with.    This is a great time to try to quilt in the hoop.   Pick an easy to line up design and give it a try.    Got questions, call the shop.    Bring the items below if you do not cut out your fabric.
