Kimberbell Nativity Pillow Sew Along
This is the wrap up class for the Nativity Sew Along. We will be focussing on the borders and other questions about putting the pillow together
For the inner border - please have your border cut in strips - width of fabric and please cut it 2" wide and back the entire strip with SF101. Because I suggest you have a 2" strip I am not sure if you will have enough fabric. The fabric is in the store if you need more.
For the outer border -- you will be cutting the blues into rectangles. The size that I want you to cut is 43/4 x 4". Again, I am asking that you cut these rectangles wider than what your book tells you. Have these pieces cut and sewn together to have a strip for the top and bottom of the pillow and again, back the entire piece with a strip of SF101. That means when you have them pieced, press them well and then add the SF101.
You will need batting -- this time the piece will be 11/2" wide. You need 3 pieces 15" in length. This is the inner border.
For the outer border, you will need pieces that are 31/2" wide. You will need 3 pieces 15" in length.

Bring the biggest hoop that you have. It is easier for this part of the project to have at least the maxi hoop.
