Beginner English Paper Piecing

English paper piecing is a fun and relaxing hand piecing technique that’s perfect for travel, waiting rooms, and other scenarios where you would love to stay busy, but with less to carry for the situation you are in.
Come join Melissa to learn how to create your foundation pieces, then how to baste, place, and sew together an English Paper Pieced block to add to a tote bag. She’ll also talk about how she stays organized for larger projects and if this is something that you enjoy, she will be talking about where the Sewing Studio goes from here to advance our English Paper Piecing skills.

Paper templates
Supplies Needed:
Three Fat Quarters - coordinating colors
Tote bag to attach the design to (store will have these)
Coordinating cotton thread
Scissors
Water Soluble glue stick
(optional) Thimble, small cutting mat, rotary cutter, small ruler
