Beginning Quilting 2
This class is for anyone who has taken a beginning quilt class and now wants to expand their skills another level. We all have questions and we all want to improve our skills. This is a great class to take another step to building confidence and learning more in this wonderful hobby of piecing and quilting!
For this class, you will be building a table runner which will incorporate flying geese, half square triangles, and stitch and flip technique for piecing. Better yet, for this class and this project, we are including the kit to complete these new skills. You will just need to bring your machine, and the few supplies listed below and we will have the fabric (excluding the binding and backing). This will expedite your learning and the ability to complete your table runner during class.
Here is what you need to bring with you for these 2 sessions:
- machine - power cord- foot pedal - new needle
- a foot which allows you to piece with a consistent 1/4" seam
- neutral thread
- snips, seam ripper
- scissors
- if you have a mini iron and a wool mat, please bring those. Store will have 2 irons available
- Straight Edge Ruler.
- Erasable marker
- Straight Pins
