Digital Thread Painting Seminar by Sylvain Bergeron
Make your own Digital Thread Painting! Come join Bernina Educator Sylvain Bergeron learning one of the latest trends in quilting using your machine embroidery, and learning your Bernina Software. On Day 1, you will be creating a quilt design in your Bernina Software going step by step with Sylvain's help, Day 2 you will be actually stitching out your design on your machine.
You will be digitizing in the Bernina Software and then will learn to incorporate it in the Bernina Quilter Software. On Day 2, you will be stitching out your creation and will piece it into a 24" square quilt and will bind it with built-in binding
Come join us for the 2 days of creative fun, brush up on your embroidery software skills and learn a couple of new tricks in quilt binding while you are at it.
Sylvain's teaching philosophy can be summed up as "I have never learned so much while having so much fun"

| Requirements: | Bring your computer with the software loaded, mouse and power cord to day 1. To day 2 you will bring your computer as well as your machine, your module and accessories for embroidery. A complete list will be emailed closer to the class time. |

| Instructor Bio: | Sylvain Bergeron is an educator from Bernina of America. He is self taught seamster and machine embroidery teacher for Bernina. He was the 2006 recipient of the first Master Award for Thread Artistry at the Fall International Quilt Festival in Houston TX and the Gold Prize at the 9th Quilt Nihon Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. |
