Let's Embroider Cards
This embroidery technique class will be how to embroider cards. You know how much money we spend in the card isle, well now you can give a special sentiment card created right on your embroidery machine.
We are going to be sewing out the Believe Card that is a part of the free OESD collection that some of you may have. We will have these designs on a stick to load into your machine when you arrive. We will not be using the colors that are used in the collection, we are going to sew it out more like I sewed it out and is on display in the store. It is 12905-06.
We will provide your first card, your first piece of fabric, and your first piece of stabilizer to create your card and card stock to cover the back of the sewing area. We have a stash if thread in the store you can pilfer through. These are the colors that I used.
Christmas Red
Gold
Light Green (christmas color)
Darker Green (christmas green)
a blue - for bulbs
it would look good if you used all red for the bulbs as well
You will need to bring:
Machine
Embroidery Module
Oval or Midi Hoop
75/11 needle
Single hole stitch plate
#26 foot or comparable
Thread for your project
