Embroidery Basics - Learning about Stabilizers and Hooping

New to embroidery - or just have questions about stabilizers and hooping? This discussion session is just for you! No machine required for this class. We will be discussing some of the why - how come - and how to decide what is the best tools for your embroidery project.

Stabilizers
Basics of hooping and marking
Bring with you:
- Pen and Paper
- Questions
- bring a hoop - oval or midi works great, and the template that goes with this hoop and the associated gray template hooks. Bring a piece of fabric large enough for the hoop you bring we will be marking it and hooping, using your templates
- if you have the Big Book of Embroidery, bring that as well
Expectations:
We will give you plenty of information to help take the fear out of your next steps in embroidery. There are no dumb questions!! "Trust me, I have had my share of failed projects to learn from."
This is not a Bernina specific class. This class is for anyone that is embroidering and you have questions about stabilizers and hooping!
We must have 4 students to move forward with this class. If we must cancel the class for reasons of weather or sickness, a refund will be made to your account and this class will be presented every quarter. If you must cancel, please call the store.
