Fabulous Foot - Project Day

Each Quarter, we will have a few hours that is devoted to the great Bernina Feet. We all have them or have looked at them. We have feet in our possession that we don't use to their full potential. These lecture/demo sessions are meant to solve the mysteries and help you become more familiar with the great BERNINA feet! We will have machines in the classroom, so you can try the feet prior to the end of the class.

990 - Learn it, Love it, Use it Classes - Quilting functionality on your 990

This is your time to come in and join us to learn your new 990. This is the 3rd class on this machine. This will cover the rest of Embroidery, and will dive into how the quilting functionality on this machine will be used. (This class will NOT teach you how to quilt in the hoop -- it will teach you how to use your 990)

Elizabeth Hartman's - Show and Tell - Monthly Sew Along

We have a treat for you with this class. While Elizabeth Hartman's patterns can look intimidating and a bit overwhelming, this class will allow you to create this marvelous quilt but in consumable pieces with assistance in the classroom along the way. Guidance will be provided for constructing each block or set of blocks through our 9 month program. But in the end, you will have a fantastic quilt just in time to gift it for the holidays.

This 6 month club will walk you through an introduction to bag making through bag completion. Each month you will build on your knowledge and skills. You will create 5 new projects designed to accomplish these goals. The first class will be lecture demo and the 5 remaining classes you will need machines and supplies as you will be creating 5 different style bags. This is a great class to get involved in whether you are a novice and just getting started or want to start creating bags or if you are seasoned but learned by the trial and error method.

Join us to make this super fun bag! This bag can organize notions, personal essentials, small toys for a child. The list of possibilities is endless. The Sew Together bag is a nifty little bag with 3 zipper pockets and 4 open pockets all held together by a zipper that forms two handles. This bag easily holds your 8" scissors, rotary cutter, marking pencils, wonder clips and much more. It can be scrappy or color coordinated. The more colors the better!

The perfect travel companion, this functional bag includes a comfortable padded adjustable carrying strap and quick-grab side handles, as well as a handy trolley sleeve on back to secure the bag to rolling luggage. This is a must have for travel opportunities in 2026! We will be doing 3 classes. The first will be discussing and quilting the fabric. You will have time for any catchup between classes.

This class will cover the project – Bella and Wally (Small or large) Wooden Bunnies kits. You may choose the kit and size you wish to make. This is a beginner kit that you will create into a one of a kind spring decoration. The large bunny finished size of about 9 3/4” x 5 3/4‘x 1 1/4 in. The small bunny finishes at about 7” x 5”x 1 1/4in. These bunnies create an adorable spring vibe in any room. Make them for Easter baskets, put them on the family room mantle, or set them on your desk for a sweet touch of spring.

Even a beautiful housewarming basket! You can customize the look with the fabrics that you choose!

This class will cover the project – Small lidded box # 160a. This is an intermediate kit that you will want to make for yourself, family and friends. The lidded box is a finished size of 71/8” x 5 ‘x 3 1/8 in. This box can be used to hold stationary, cotton balls, post it notes, and sewing tools. You can customize this box by adding batting to the lid. This will add a depth of dimension to the project. You can also fussy cut pieces for this project.

We try to bring to you a technique or tool each month as well as what is new! Bring your Show and Tell as others need your inspiration to keep them going too. We have created a group of classes to help all embroidery fans to learn more about the mysteries of tackling what stabilizer to use and when. These have been developed to apply to the beginners and through those with a working knowledge of embroidery. We will assist you to gain knowledge in this area and get you to feel more comfortable when looking at your project and understanding which stabilizer to grab. Then we will guide you through how to hoop and mark your project for a successful embroidery project. For the most part, these classes will be demo/lecture.

Join us to create the “No Diggity” panel quilt from GE Designs’ Panel Mash Up Book. With a panel and the Stripology ruler, you’ll transform that fabric into a truly beautiful quilt.

The Stitcher's Garden Quilt is a quilt construction series where you will learn so many great techniques to use in your everyday quilting and sewing, while at the same time learning your machine. Each month you will learn how to use a different sewing machine presser foot and how to use decorative stitches on your machine. This is a 9 month series and will start in September and run through May 2026. Your finished quilt has many options for size, but the largest is 85"x93". This listing will get you registered for the class. Each month following there will be a fee.

This is a class for beginner Embroiderers. Bring your machine and we will take you through 3 different embroidery techniques. Along the way, we will provide you some tips on problem solving when you are home working on something of your own. We will also discuss different needle types and stabilizer. We also promise a laugh or two along the way. Bring a lunch as we will keep going through the lunch time. Your machine MUST be able to accept a USB to take this class.

This class is for Bernina machines only and we will take you to the next level of understanding the power your machine offers you to be able to change, reposition, modify, re-arrange, and how to add lettering to your embroidery. It all lives on your machine under your 'i' function! This class is not a project creation class, it is a dive in and learn your machine class.

Open Sew Daze and Open Bag Sew is just the fix you need to be able to come in, sew in a relaxed and safe space to get those unfinished projects done. We will have 2 teachers in the room to assist you with all your questions. Come for one day or for both and leave your machine and sewing supplies overnight. You will get one table in exchange for the class fee.

This skill class is for Bernina or Bernette Sergers that have Coverstitch functionality. Come join in this class with the girls and they will walk you through how to set up your machine for successful completion of the Coverstitch series of stitches.

Come join this session and the girls will be leading you through the Overlock Stitches. They will be focussing on this set of stitches to help you become comfortable with this group. Look for other classes on the Coverstitch and Combination stitch set up.

We will be continuing our Software classes during the week for 2025. In fact - we are increasing the material that we will provide each week. For those who have the DesignerPlus version of software, we will be covering features and functions just for you, in addition to lessons for the Creator level of the software.

This class will be presented in 2 sessions. Participants will need Bernina Software Version 9 - Creator or DesignerPlus. This class will help you to get going with your Software. The instructors will take you through navigation and other basic functions to get you a good foundation for using your software to create your own designs.
